Kahekili Highway

On our last day we were going to go on the popular drive "the road to Hana", but were running short on time so we decided to do a shorter drive on the North shore's remote "Kahekili Highway". On the map it was described as "the road along this north side of Maui is for the most part a narrow, winding, one-lane road. Drive at your own risk." The drive was absolutely breathetaking, one of the prettiest drives I have ever experienced in my life. The highway winds around right on the coast for most of the drive and goes through little villages, with people selling pineapple and banana bread along the side of the road. The scenery was gorgeous and the pictures don't really capture how beautiful it was.
