Kahekili Highway

On our last day we were going to go on the popular drive "the road to Hana", but were running short on time so we decided to do a shorter drive on the North shore's remote "Kahekili Highway". On the map it was described as "the road along this north side of Maui is for the most part a narrow, winding, one-lane road. Drive at your own risk." The drive was absolutely breathetaking, one of the prettiest drives I have ever experienced in my life. The highway winds around right on the coast for most of the drive and goes through little villages, with people selling pineapple and banana bread along the side of the road. The scenery was gorgeous and the pictures don't really capture how beautiful it was.

Maui

Clint and I went to Maui a few weeks ago for an early Valentine's Day present. It was beautiful and relaxing and we had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back. We went on a boat trip snorkeling and whale watching and it was amazing. The humpback whales are migrating right now and we had them swimming all around and even under the boat at one time. We decided to try to "snuba", which is like scuba diving but only 25 feet under with the tank above you on a raft. It was awesome, we got to see some fish and were only a few feet away from sea turtles.

Bella

Meet the newest member of our family, our French Bulldog Bella. We got her a week before Christmas as an early present. She is the best dog, we just love her. Her and Colin are buddies, and Clint spoils her a little bit too much!
